Songwriters Circle Member Profiles Requirements

The purpose of the Profile Page is to encourage Circle members who are performing songwriters to pay their dues, and to get something of value from their contribution to the organization. As webmaster, I can volunteer my time to set up the member profiles, but I must have something to work with. -David Hakan

- photo of you (Send as a .jpg file of any size and I will shrink it down. It must be at least120 pixels tall.)
- website URL to link to (You can also have a link to your MySpace "band" site, etc.)
- 2 or 3 sentence BLURB that tells what your music is like. (Yes, you're unique, but go to CDBaby.com and click on "New Music" and then on a genre. You can real quickly get a feel for what works best for sending people to your site cause they are pretty sure it is right up their alley.)
- 3 artists for the "Recommended if you like" section. If you can only think of 2, or need 4 names, that's OK. This makes more sense than who you "sound" like. People know who they like. If one of your names is someone they like, it is likely they will go to your website.)
- CD cover art (IF you have a CD, then a jpg of your most recent CD and the link to the page where folks can buy it. Again, any size as long as it is over 120 pixels tall.)
- Video to link to (This is the whole breakthrough that sparked the idea of an artist profile page. 23 Circle Members now have one of their best songs on a video that sounds good. If you don't have a good video of one of your best songs on YouTube.com or Songpull.com then I suggest you get help doing one. If you have the .dv or .mov file I can get a picture from that, but it is not crucial.)
- Pay Your Dues for the current year.
